I belive you all are fully aware of this comment, but I'd like to reinterpret this at the perspective of Six Sigma.
First of all, think about "If a single defect is among 100 units, then the remaining 99 units will be considered defective by our customers." When on product among 100 units is defective, the defective rate is 1%, in which case Z value is 3.8σ.
Moreover, the comment "Building customer trust by providing superior product is the most importand thing to remember!" shares the same key principle with Six Sigma: meeting customer demands. Given that our Founder had put emphasis on quality-responsible management at the perspective of Six Sigma in 1948, shouldn't we reach 6σ level by now?
