Six Sigma Process Overview

1.  Define
   • Select Project (Check Biz. Issue, Extract Big Y, Select Project).
   • Determine Project Y (Analyze Process, Define CTQ, Determine Project Y)
   • Register Project (Team building, Set the goal/Examine the expected Result, Register Project)
2. Measure
   • Check the validity of Project Y (Design Data Resume, Establish Measurement Plan, Verify Measurement system)
   • Set the Baseline (Collect data related to Project Y, Check current level of process, Set improvement direction)
3. Analyze
   • Select Vital Few (Extract possible X, Examine and Collect additional data, Select Vital Few and Check the possibility of achieving goal)
   • Find root causes (Examine causes for Vital Few)
4. Improve
   • Select the best solution (Extract Improvement ideas, Evaluate Improvement ideas, Select the best solution)
   • Execute and Verify the selected solution (Establish out Execution plan, Execution/Verification)
5. Control
   • Standardization
   • Monitoring (Establish Monitoring plan)
   • Share/Spread the results (Report the results of Project, Spread of results)
