Phase I. Define
Purpose:
This step is important in the view of customer during the process, and is to output the most effective project in management, to define it clearly to drive successfully.
Activity STEP:
Step 1. Project Selection -> Check Biz. Issue (VOB, VOC), Define CTQ, Project Selection
Step 2. Definition of “Y” -> Define object to measure, Inspect the project (Decide output image)
Step 3. Project Registration -> Form a driving team, Build a goal, Register the project
Output:
Step 1. Analyze upper process, Output Little Y through Big Y development
Step 2. Define VOC and CTQ / Spec, Analyze Process in detail, Plan of Quick Action

Step 2 – Definition of “Y”
